Why am I dressed as a 💩emoji in front of a giant colon? Colorectal cancer is now the number one cause of cancer related death in adults under 50, and March is colorectal cancer awareness month. I’m a stage IV CRC survivor. I was in the prime of my life at age 44, non-smoker, no family history, and in peak physical shape. If it happened to me, it can happen to anyone. If you are age 45 or older and haven’t been screened, you need to ask yourself why not: ❓Too busy? Nothing keeps you busier than cancer. You have appointments, tests, treatments, scans, surgeries, etc. It all sucks. ❓The prep is awful? The prep has nothing on chemotherapy. ❓Scared? CRC patient advocacy groups provide tons of support I can’t accept excuses after what I’ve been through. As an advocate, I’m here to help break down barriers. Use this month as a “kick in the butt” to talk to your doctor and reduce your risk. So please… GET SCREENED!! …because I love you! 💙🤗#colorectalcancer ... See MoreSee Less
