Stacy Hurt has spent 20+ years in healthcare and physician practice management in such areas as sales, marketing, training, technology, operations, customer service, strategy, and human resources for Fortune 500 companies.  She continued to work after her son’s rare diagnosis and her unexpected colorectal cancer diagnosis (see “my story”). Stacy volunteered for a number of non-profit organizations, but it was her viral tale about a “random act of kindness” from a Southwest Airlines employee that propelled Stacy into her role as a worldwide advocate for those affected by cancer and other disabilities.  Her professional skills and personal journey have now culminated into her career as a motivational speaker and patient experience consultant.

Stacy’s mission is to raise awareness, increase accessibility, promote inclusion, and exemplify a positive, even humorous “keep it real” approach when confronting life’s big challenges.  Stacy holds a B.S. from Penn State University and an M.H.A. and M.B.A. from University of Pittsburgh. In her free time, Stacy enjoys laughing with friends and family, writing, rocking out to 80’s pop music, and exercise.  She lives in Pittsburgh, PA with her husband and her two sons, Griffin (16) and Emmett (14).
